WHOoPLA Screenplay Treatment
In that the book, as written, is a lineal description of actual events, I can say with great confidence that the movie version of this story is not only more compelling, it’s simply exciting. Halcyon Daze WHOoPLA is a fast moving sex, drugs and rock n roll period piece that is both heartwarming and thrilling. It’s Almost Famous meets Blow meets Boogie Nights.
Clearly, and for obvious reasons, the treatment manuscript is not something I’d give away here. However, if you are a serious and credible producer or production company, I’d be happy to forward it to you along with excerpted scenes from the fully written screenplay. Both are registered with The Writers Guild of America, west, Inc (#1168879) and ready to be ripped to shreds and/or ignored by a worthy suitor.
